Maintenance Services
SPRING CLEANUP: Spring Cleanups are usually done in one visit and include picking up sticks and winter debris, mechanical tine raking of the lawn, removal of all leaves, thatch, and debris from the lawn and general bed cleanup. NOTE: This does not include detailed perennial cleanup-see Garden Care below.
EDGING AND MULCHING: Edging and mulching includes applying fresh mulch to bedding areas and clean-cut edging around all beds.
MOWING: Mowing includes cutting and trimming of the grass on a weekly basis, edging of all walks, patios and beds on an as needed basis. Areas affected by mowing or trimming will be blown off.
FALL CLEANUP: Fall Cleanup typically includes two to three visits, the first one or two being a general cleanup of leaves from all lawn areas to prevent lawn damage and minimize accumulation. The final visit is a thorough cleanup of the entire yard. Leaves will be blown into the woods or vacuumed up and removed, as determined by your property and past preference.
GARDEN CARE:
*Garden Open includes cutting back perennials/grasses, weeding and preparing the garden for the season.
*Garden Care includes seasonal plant monitoring, weeding, pruning, removing debris from the beds.
*Garden Close includes cutting back any remaining perennials/grasses and preparing the garden for the winter.
CUSTOM LAWN CARE: Custom Lawn Care Program maintains the overall health and apperance of all lawn areas through the timely application of fertilization and pest management products throughout the growing season. This service is typically provided in 5-6 applications throughout the growing season and includes fertilization, weed control, insect control, disease control and lime applications.
CUSTOM TREE & SHRUB: Our tree and shrub care program will be performed five times throughout the season. Trees and shrubs will be treated for insect and diseases to enhance the health and wealth of your landscape plantings throughout the growing season and into winter dormancy. Our applicators will make timely inspections of your property and notify you of any insect and/or disease problems.
DEEP ROOT FERTILIZATION AND ANTI-DESICANT PROGRAM: Deep root fertilization is a process where a high quality nutrient solution is injected into the root zone under pressure which helps aerate and provide much needed oxygen to the root system. Anti-desiccant treatment forms a protective barrier on plant foliage which helps to prevent winter injury due to loss of moisture. These two treatments are delivered in later November and will ensure healthy and happy plants in the Spring.
ABORBORIST SERVICES: We offer a variety of services to help our residential customers maintain beautiful, healthy trees and shrubs. Our local arborists are experts in diagnosing and treating problems to help protect your plants as well as your landscape investment. These services include pruning, storm damage, plant analysis and diagnosis, fertilization, soil management and insect and disease management.
CORE AERATION AND OVERSEEDING (FALL): The two step process guaranteed to improve your lawn. An aeration treatment removes small cores of soil and thatch to allow air, moisture and fertilizer to penatrate down to the root zone. The cores brought to the surface contain microorganisms, which help the breakdown of woody thatch tissue. This allows the roots of existing grass plants to spread out and grow deeper, creating a healthier, thicker lawn.
Aerating your lawn is a great way to reduce thatch. loosen up compacted soils, and make it easier for water and nutrients to reach the roots of your turf.
Overseeding at the time of Aeration is a great way to thicken up a thin lawn or introduce better grass types to a lawn. Simply spreading grass seed over a lawn will give very poor results. By aerating first, the soil is cultivated, greatly improving the results. The majority of the new grass will grow in the aeration holes. 'Tufts' of new grass will grow out of the holes and then 'tiller-out' and thicken up the lawn.
We look forward to helping you with all of your maintenance needs.
